Dolors Garcia i Cornellà was born in Girona in 1956. She has a degree in Psychology, and has for some time dedicated herself to children’s and young people’s literature. She published her first book in 1985, after winning the Just Manuel Casero prize with her work Albert. Currently, she has fifty published titles, some of which have been republished several times. She also has works which have been translated into Spanish.
